Anne Shilling, PA-C is a Physician Associate who is certified with the NCCPA and NMMB.  She comes to ABQ Orthopedics after spending years practicing orthopedics in the suburbs of Phoenix, AZ. She is widely versed in diagnosing injury and disease of shoulders, hips, and knees utilizing diagnostics of x-ray, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound as well as treatment with non-operative support such as oral and topical medications, therapeutic injection, and physical therapy. She is well versed in pre and post operative care should surgical intervention be indicated. Prior to graduating as a Physician Associate from the University of St. Francis, Anne spent more than 15 years as a radiologic technologist providing imaging in emergent and surgical settings in trauma hospitals both in Phoenix and Honolulu. She collaborated with many skilled providers over the years whose devotion and skill helped to heal and restore the lives of their patients, ultimately inspiring Anne to become a provider herself.

Anne is devoted to providing attentive, quality care to her patients. She is focused on collaborative teamwork between patient and provider in developing a plan to meet the goals of each individual by utilizing patient education to explain the cause of ailments and outlining evidence-based options to guide each patient in their treatment. It is most important to Anne that her patients feel heard, their questions are answered, and a collaborative plan has been established to bring about best possible outcomes. We are thrilled to have Anne on our team!

Anne enjoys learning new skills, leisurely hiking the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends as well as looking after her pet bunnies and three-legged hamster.
